Khaby The Wordless Comedian is Now the Most Followed TikToker in the World

There is a new leader on TikTok. Last night, Khaby Lame, 22, passed the American TikToker Charli D’Amelio to become the most followed creator on the App. Currently, Lame has more followers than D’Amelio (142.3 million) and has more than 142.7 million.

As of June 2022, Khaby has 142.7 million followers on Tik Tok.

The social media sensation, who was raised in Italy but was born in Senegal, used to work at a factory. After losing his job, he joined the platform in March 2020. Khabane Lame is his true name.

With his humorous, wordless clips that mostly feature him silently ridiculing other Tik Tokers, especially those who advise “life hacks,” Lame rapidly became well-known on the app.

His TikTok page is captioned, “If you want to laugh, you’re in the right place.”

His videos often don’t feature dialogue, but Lame is known for his signature facial expressions and body language. He has a particular talent for reaction videos and parodying ridiculous life hacks.

On Instagram, which is owned by Meta, Lame has 78.3 million followers.

Lame claims that “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” Eddie Murphy, Will Smith French actor Omar Sy, and various cartoons were the sources of inspiration for his videos.

Lame is also becoming more popular in the offline world. BOSS declared in January that Lame had formed a multi-year deal with them after requesting the TikTokker to walk their runway during Milan Fashion Week in September 2021. He released a capsule collection with the clothing brand last week that features a doll of himself.
