10-Day Folk Festival Organized at Shakarparian

To promote the country’s traditional folk art and culture, the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage Lok Virsa is gearing up to host its annual Folk Festival at Shakarparian in Islamabad at the end of this month. 

According to the details, the festival will last 10 days—from November 25 to December 4.

Organizers of the event said that this 10-day festival will be highly beneficial in promoting Pakistan’s traditional craftsmen’s dynamic creativity and in encouraging rural folk artisans. 

The event will feature food courts, folk musical theatre, provincial pavilions, traditional heritage performances, and much more.

An exotic craft bazaar with a wide range of unusual handicrafts, souvenirs, and decorative art will also be organised.
