The International Cricket Council (ICC) has selected Nida Dar, a 32-year-old Pakistani right-handed batter, as its Women’s Player of the Month for October 2022.
Indian competitors Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues were also given consideration for the title, but only the veteran won it.
Dar scored 145 runs at an astounding average of 72.50 throughout six matches while also taking eight wickets at a spare of 14.87 runs each.
While expressing her joy upon receiving the accolade, she said;
