Nida Dar Wins ICC Player of the Month Award for October 2022

  • Nida Dar, a Pakistani all-rounder, has been named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for October 2022.
  • She is awarded this title as a result of her consecutive excellent T20 international series performances.
  • The stunner scored 145 runs in six matches at a fantastic average of 72.50 as well as took around eight wickets for just 14.87 each.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has selected Nida Dar, a 32-year-old Pakistani right-handed batter, as its Women’s Player of the Month for October 2022.

Indian competitors Deepti Sharma and Jemimah Rodrigues were also given consideration for the title, but only the veteran won it.

Dar scored 145 runs at an astounding average of 72.50 throughout six matches while also taking eight wickets at a spare of 14.87 runs each.

While expressing her joy upon receiving the accolade, she said;

“It was awesome to be nominated for the award, and winning it is incredibly significant to me. The recent series triumph against Ireland at home demonstrates the dedication the green shirts are putting into their game.”
