On 9th Nov, the Pakistani women’s cricket team won against Ireland at their home ground, the Gaddafi Stadium.
Spinner Ghulam Fatima‘s five wickets, along with half-centuries by Bismah Maroof and Sadaf Shams, helped the team chase the 226-run target.
They recorded a clean sweep against Ireland, in the 3-match series.
The team won with 5 wickets to spare.
According to a PCB, the victory will help the team win 6 points for the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25.
Pakistan is currently in the 2nd spot with 10 points, while India with 12 points is at the top.

Both sides will be playing the next 3 T20Is starting on Saturday.
The T201 matches will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the occasion congratulated the women’s cricket team for the clean sweep.
He added that they had made the entire nation proud.
