Pakistani tech startups brought 1.5 billion dollars in 18 months

Masood Khan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US recently stated that Pakistan-based tech startups earned around 1.5 billion dollars in the past 18 months (Reported by Radio Pakistan). 

It was reported that 60% of that revenue was funded by the US-based Venture Capital Firms primarily based in San Francisco.

Better Engagement Between Pak and the US

Masood Khan stressed the need for continued engagement between Pakistan and the US and pointed out that concerted efforts are being made. 

These efforts will create strong linkages at government to government, business to business, and most importantly people to people level. 

Pakistan is Ideal for US Investors – Pak Ambassador 

Talking to a delegation of Pakistani Young Entrepreneurs in Washington DC, Masood Khan emphasized that Pakistan provides great conditions for US investors and entrepreneurs.

He added that Pakistan serves as an ideal ground to explore, invest and expand businesses.
