President Arif Alvi Urges CPNC to Promote Positive Use of Social Media

A three-day conference on “Emerging Trends in English Language Teaching in Pakistan: Challenges and Opportunities” began on September 22, 2022 with remarks from the president.

In the global age of digitalization, the President stressed the significance of expanded international cooperation in bridging communication gaps.

Donald Blome, the US ambassador to Pakistan, said that the US values and is committed to fostering its relations with Pakistan. We look forward to deepening engagement and bolstering cooperation in the area of education, he said, adding that people-to-people contacts are at the core of our bilateral relations. The ambassador claimed that this conference is a fantastic opportunity for networking with professionals, learning, and gaining new skills.

In partnership with the US Embassy in Pakistan, Allama Iqbal Open University held the conference.

The conference’s many thematic and technical sessions will draw a sizable number of researchers from both domestic and international institutions. 159 papers will also be presented at the conference. The conference will give academics the chance to interact and enhance the creative and instructional abilities of English language teachers around the nation.
