The third season of the Car Price Hike series has officially launched. In the show’s first episode, the star firm “Proton” has raised the pricing of two locally made automobile models, the Proton X70 and Proton Saga.
As we previously stated, Pakistani automobile companies were going to raise their rates, and unsurprisingly, this has happened. In the first episode, the star of the show, Proton, has raised the pricing of its two locally built cars and it is expected that other automakers too would jump on board.
This price increase, like before, has probably happened due to the depreciation of the local currency, increased freight expenses, and material costs.
Proton Saga New Prices
Proton has increased the price of its three Saga models by Rs. 230,000. The sedan’s updated prices are listed below.

The revised pricing of the Proton Saga Standard Automatic model is PKR 2,729,000, up from Rs. 2,499,000. The total increase with respect to the previous price is PKR 230,000 (2.3 Lacs).
The revised pricing of the Proton Saga Standard Manual model is PKR 2,579,000, up from PKR 2,349,000. The total increase with respect to the previous price is PKR 230,000 (2.3 Lacs).
The revised pricing of the Proton Saga Ace Automatic model is PKR 2,849,000, up from PKR 2,619,000. The total increase with respect to the previous price is PKR 230,000 (2.3 Lacs).
Honda, Kia, Toyota, Suzuki, Chang’an, Hyundai, and others are now expected to follow Proton’s lead and appear in subsequent episodes of the series. Well, for now, only the first company on the list of 2022 third-party car price increases may be crossed off.
Proton X70 New Prices
In addition to the Proton Saga, X70 versions have also been updated as a result of the price increase. Here are the new Proton crossover costs.

The revised pricing of the Proton X70 Executive AWD model is PKR 6,050,000, up from PKR 5,400,000. The total increase with respect to the previous price is PKR 650,000 (6.5 Lacs).
