Punjab CM Lifts Ban on Recruitment Announces 30000 Jobs

On 22 September 2022, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi overturned the hiring restriction. 30,000 new jobs were declared by the chief minister of Punjab.

The projects in grades BPS-1 to BPS-5 will be considered while recruiting related to grades above BPS-5 will be forwarded to a subcommittee for review. The recruitments will be made in various departments.

Earlier, a summary of the decision to appoint 16,000 teachers across the province by the Punjab administration was forwarded to Chief Minister Parvez Elahi for approval.

Murad Raas, the Punjab’s education minister, announced on Twitter that a summary to hire more than 16,000 teachers has been started, signed, and is moving forward. He continued, “I appreciate Allah that he has given us the opportunity to provide these possibilities for our youth”.

Following the chief minister’s acceptance of the executive summary, the Punjab government would post an advertisement to hire the educators.

The declaration came a day after Murad Raas tweeted that the procedure to regularize 14,000 teachers had been started, signed, and advanced.
