The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on October 19, 2022 launched a mobile application called “RAHBAR” that would not only allow citizens across the country to find the nearest Nadra Service Centre but also provide much more with a single click, marking yet another step toward making operations in Pakistan digital.
Nadra Chairman Tariq Malik made an announcement of the citizen-centric mobile app stating: “Citizen’s residing inside Pakistan were unable to know about the location of the Nadra centre that best suits their vicinity. With RAHBAR, the citizens can now make a well-informed decision about visiting any Nadra centre, keeping in view the location, distance, number of applicants-in-waiting, and average processing time through their mobile phones.”
According to him, such initiatives aim to transform Nadra offices into citizen service centres rather than just registration centres, and the application will make sure that citizens are given the greatest amount of convenience.
He further communicated that: “From now onwards, Nadra’s service will be in the public eye. This is the true manifestation of digital Pakistan and e-governance.”

RAHBAR app is created to make it easier for Pakistani citizens to visit Nadra offices. The app makes it simple for users to find nearby Nadra offices by providing information on how many people are lined up and the longest wait durations. Users have the option of viewing Nadra offices on a map or in a list that is arranged by cities.
