On Wednesday, Sarooj Sajid Hussain won a gold medal for table tennis at the Saudi Games 2022.

Launched under the Vision 2030 program, Saudi Games is the largest national sporting event in Saudi Arabia’s history. 

The event was held in Riyadh from Oct 27 to Nov 7 and saw more than 6,000 athletes. 

The Saudi Games aims at providing a platform for Saudi athletes to excel to their best and to inspire the youth through sports.

The event also demonstrates the capabilities of the Kingdom globally, in hosting such large events.
