This feature enables verified subscribers to download videos from certain Tweets for offline viewing and more. The announcement was made by Elon Musk on his Twitter/X account.
How to Download Twitter/X Videos
The process of downloading a video on X is straightforward. Users need to follow these steps:
- Go to the video you want to download.
- Tap the three-dot icon, “…”, located in the top right corner of the video.
- Click on “Download video.”
- Enjoy watching the video offline at your convenience.
For those who wish to control the video download feature on their own Twitter posts, X offers the option to enable or disable it by toggling the ‘Allow video to be downloaded’ option on their videos.
Moreover, X is planning to introduce another way to download videos, making it even more user-friendly. X, users will be able to download videos by simply tapping and holding on a video, similar to how pictures are downloaded.
These new capabilities are expected to generate more interest among users on the X platform, especially as it competes with Threads.
