The US and Pakistan on Wednesday formally unveiled the great Investment Promotion Activity program to improve bilateral relations between the two countries.
This initiative was taken in the honor of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
The Census Bureau reports that the United States imported items from Pakistan worth around $5.3 billion in 2021, and that American investment in Pakistan rose by 50% in the preceding 12 months.
About IPA Program:
The Investment Promotion Activity (IPA) program is a five-year initiative that aims to enhance Pakistan’s business environment and institutional capabilities.
Funded by USAID, it also strives to foster bilateral economic and investment ties between the United States and Pakistan and encourage foreign direct investment.
