According to State Minister of Finance Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, those willing to purchase more than 2,000 dollars must have a valid bank account.
This condition, according to insiders, has been put in place to ensure that everything is documented.
While talking to the media, Pasha further said that the condition for a bank account for international travel of over $2,000 is just temporary.
In this regard, the Deputy Governor of the state bank has said that to buy dollars state bank has imposed a condition to transfer funds from a cheque or account.
