After the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) made polio vaccination mandatory for foreign travel, AirSial also announced new travel requirements for its passengers.
According to a tweet, passengers are now required to carry an updated polio vaccination card issued by NADRA.
The old vaccination cards will not be accepted; therefore, it is advised that travelers should follow the vaccination protocols beforehand.
It is worth noting that Pakistan is one of the last countries in the world that are battling with Polio. These efforts come as a way to mitigate the spread of the virus to other countries.
Polio remains a deadly disease that can cause irreparable and permanent damage, and thus, vaccinations have become a crucial prevention measure.
