Peshawar: At least 30 people were killed and 145 others injured in the armed clashes between two tribes fighting over a piece of land.

Reason Of Conflict:

The recent conflict in Kumrat district, especially in Parachinar, started due to a dispute between two tribes, some of which were Sunni and others Shia.

For the past 5 days, the Kurram district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially its headquarters, Parachinar, has been caught up in an intense tribal fight. The Parachinar shares a border with Afghanistan and has a bad history of sectarian violence, mainly between Shia and Sunni.

Media coverage of this incident is very limited. News channels are not properly covering it, which has led to public frustration and protests.

Many Shia Muslims have been brutally killed in this horrible incident. The local Shia leaders are blaming Suni groups and army forces for the violence. They said they both want the Shia minority to leave their country and homes.

There are different views on social media. People are blaming foreign forces for creating instability in Pakistan. This is labeled as a sectarian conflict. They are calling it genocide against the Shia community. However, this situation is still unclear and people want to know the real reason behind this. People are also demanding peace from the government.
