China-Pakistan Joint Research Center on Earth Sciences is expected to establish a weather observation center at the Karakoram International University (Gilgit).
A decision was taken during the meeting between the Director of China Pakistan Research Center in Islamabad and the Vice Chancellor of Karakoram International University Dr. Attaullah Shah.
Joint Director Professor Hong stated that a center in Jamia Karakoram is already in the making by the China Research Center.
The weather observation center at Karakoram University is expected to contain advanced tools that will provide advanced information related to climate change.
