FPSC Officially Announces CSS 2022 Final Result

Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the CSS 2022 final result, indicating a passing percentage of just 1.85%.

According to FPSC, a total of 237 candidates passed the test. The genderwise breakdown shows that 146 male and 91 female students cleared the test.

The watchdog shared the list of passed candidates along with their occupational groups/services on its official website earlier today.

It is pertinent to mention here that a total of 20,262 candidates appeared in CSS 2022 exams out of which only 393 cleared the written part.

Final CSS Result 2022

Talha Rafiq belonging to Punjab topped the list and has subsequently been allocated to Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS). Yasir Bilal, Ahmad Hassan Chatha, Muhammad Awais Sultan, and Noman Hafeez, all belonging to Punjab, round off the top five position holders’ list.

The only candidate in the top 10 who doesn’t belong to Punjab is Sindh Rural’s Bareera Bullo. She has been allocated to serve in the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP).

The CSS exam, also known as the Central Superior Services exam, is a competitive examination conducted by the Federal Public Service Commission in Pakistan. The exam is held annually to recruit individuals for various civil service positions in the federal government of Pakistan.

The CSS exam is highly regarded and attracts candidates from diverse academic backgrounds who aspire to join prestigious government services, including the Pakistan Administrative Service, Foreign Service of Pakistan (FS), Customs and Excise Group, Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service (PAAS), and many other administrative and professional groups.

Successful candidates who pass the CSS exam undergo a comprehensive training program at the Civil Services Academy in Lahore, where they receive specialized training to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge required for their respective civil service positions.

Upon completion of training, the candidates are allocated to different departments and services based on their merit, preference, and the needs of the government. CSS officers serve in various sectors such as administration, policymaking, foreign affairs, revenue and taxation, police, customs, audit and accounts, and other key government positions at the federal and provincial levels.
