A proud moment for Pakistan took place during the 25m Rapid Fire Rifle and Pistol shooting Championship held in Cairo, Egypt.
Pakistan Navy’s Master Chief Officer Ghulam Mustafa Bashir won the Bronze Medal at the ISSF 2022.
The event served as a qualifier for the Summer Olympics scheduled in Paris, France in 2024.
77 shooters from 37 countries participated in the championship and Pakistan secured 3rd position in the event.
Ghulam Mustafa Bashir and Rasam Gul from the Pakistan Navy took part in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event and represented the National Flag.

Ghulam Mustafa Bashir secured 3rd position and won a Bronze Medal, reaching number 7th in the world ranking.
Upon arrival in Pakistan, both shooters received a warm welcome at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
