The preparation of an interactive map “Know Your Karachi.” is underway according to Administrator Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab.
Last Tuesday, he stated that a new digital map of Karachi with all the necessary details will soon be available on the KMC website for citizens.
The map aims to assist citizens and tourists in navigating the metropolis and viewing important information about the city, all in one place.
What to Expect from the Map?
Through the map, people would get information about venues like hospitals, wards, police stations, UCs, fire stations, universities, public places, colleges, playgrounds, parks, libraries, and much more.

The map will also offer bus route information to provide convenient travel to the general public. He added that to make the map better over time, the feedback and suggestions from citizens will be accepted.
Wahab had reviewed the preparation of the digital map at the KMC for the first time. During the event he emphasized on the fact that Karachi is one of the major cities in the world, therefore a new digital map is vital and will prove very useful in that regard.
