SSGC Inaugurates New Gas Pipeline in Karachi

To resolve the low gas pressure issues faced by the residents of Karachi, the MD of Sui Southern Gas Pipeline Limited, Imran Maniar, inaugurated a new main gas pipeline in the city. 

Imran Maniar, the Managing Director of the SSGC stated that the new gas pipelines will improve gas supply in Karachi including regions like Lyari, Garden, and old city areas.

5KM Long Gas Pipeline – A PKR 150 Million Project 

According to Imran Maniar, the 12-inch diameter gas pipeline is 5 kilometer-long and it starts from Mazar-e-Quaid to the Dhobi Ghat area in Karachi. The gas pipeline project was completed for PKR 150 million.

During the inauguration, the members of the distribution department led by Abdul Rasheed Laghari, Deputy General Manager, were also present. 

They gave a briefing to the managing director about the gas pipeline project. The SSGC managing director applauded the company technicians and engineers for timely accomplishing the project.
