Money Heist, also known as La Casa De Papel is now one of the most popular Netflix shows on the planet. Since the Netflix original series debuted on the streaming channel in 2017, it’s been that way.
But it’s been a while since we’ve seen new episodes of Money Heist, and now fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Money Heist season 5 on Netflix. It is the most-watched non-English title on Netflix at the moment and is now available to watch on Netflix in four seasons. In terms of duration, it’s almost like two full seasons split into four segments.
Money Heist was renewed for a fifth season by the streaming network in July 2020. Season 5 will, unfortunately, be the last season of the hit Netflix original series. For certain fans, it would be a bitter pill to take.
Money Heist Season 5 Release Date
The release date for Money Heist season 5 is expected to be sometime after September 2021. At least, that’s what Pina recently said. However, it makes sense. Work on the series wrapped earlier this year, and it is currently in post-production. With a larger season planned, it’s understandable that there will be a larger difference between seasons than average.
Money Heist Season 5 is expected to be released on Netflix later this year, most likely in October, November, or December. I believe the new season will premiere in October since Netflix has a jam-packed schedule for November and December, and the streaming service will choose to offer Money Heist its own window to shine. By then, there should be ample time to complete season 5’s post-production.
Season 5 of Money Heist will be the series’ final season, so it’s only fitting that Netflix launches it before the rest of the major new releases in November and December.
New Cast Members for Season 5
So, exciting news, for money heist season 5 we will be expecting 3 new cast members who haven’t be introduced in the series yet.
Miguel Ángel Silvestre has been confirmed for Season 5. For the final season, Miguel’s character is expected to be a new villain.
Patrick Criado is the second new cast member for Season 5. Whose character is currently uncertain. Patrick’s most well-known films include The Aspirant, Plastic Sea, and The King.
The third new cast member is, José Manuel Seda who is a novelist, editor, and actor best known for his work on Yo soy Bea and for directing the short film Tránsito in 2005.
Season 5 & Expectations
Lisbon is reunited with the crew in the final episode of La Casa de Papel’s fourth season. They all manage to flee the Bank of Spain thanks to the Professor’s deft maneuvering.
However, Alicia’s triumph is shattered when she shows up at the Professor’s private hideaway. She is pointing a revolver at his back. However, the situation is compounded by the fact that Alicia is now in legal trouble. Can Alicia reveal the Professor’s true identity? Could they team up now that she’s a fugitive as well? Stranger incidents have occurred in the past.
I guess we’ll find that out along with other things in the money heist season 5, where we will see the gang in the final stages of their heist and beginning their escape.
Update: Money Heist Season 5
One of our favorite Netflix Spanish-language programs, La Casa de Papel (a.k.a. Money Heist), has been renewed for a fifth season. However, the news is not all good: The show’s fifth season, which will air in two parts in 2021, will be its final.
The end of La Casa de Papel is approaching—but first, enjoy the build-up. The final ten episodes of the season will be split into two parts. On September 3rd, the first batch of five episodes will be published, followed by the second batch on December 3rd. According to the Netflix synopsis, the Professor’s crew is stuck in a terrible situation that they can’t seem to get out of—really. For the first time in his life, the Professor is without a way out
Teaser Season 5
“War” is promised in the synopsis, and the trailer confirms this. The members of the Professor’s gang shelter from gunshots while Tokio (rsula Corberó) speaks. Season 5 of La Casa de Papel appears to be more action-oriented than the previous seasons.
