Pakistan to Play Tri-Nation Series in New Zealand Ahead of T20 World Cup

Cricket tour of Pakistan by the West Indies in 2022 The West Indies (CWI) have named their 15-man team for the upcoming Pakistan tour, which begins on June 8, 2022. Under the leadership of newly appointed captain Nicholas Pooran, the West Indies will play Pakistan in a three-match ODI series. The three-match ODI series is part of the West Indies’ postponed tour of Pakistan back in 2021.

The upcoming West Indies trip will be the first without Kieron Pollard, the former ODI skipper, because he announced his retirement last month from international cricket. Jason Holder, an all-rounder, is resting to manage his workload, while Shimron Hetmyer is also out due to the birth of his child. After failing to meet CWI’s fitness requirements, Evin Lewis was not taken into consideration for selection.

Fast bowlers Shermon Lewis and Jayden Seales, as well as the batsman Keacy Carty, are among three new players in the West Indies team. Carty is the first St. Maarten player to be selected for the Men’s team of West Indies. The Pakistani Squad is yet to be announced; however, West Indies have announced their squad for the ODI.
