‘Pakistan Sold Weapons and Ammunition Worth $3.8 Million’

Pakistan’s Delegation Will be Lead by HEC Chairman at Singapore Moot

The International Trade Centre (ITC)  statistics show that Pakistan sold weapons and ammunition worth $3.8 million in 2021. In comparison, imports in the same year totaled $30.1m.

However, given that the ITC data is provided by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, these figures appear to be overstated.

At IDEAS-22, one private-sector armaments company stated that his company’s 40mm single-shot grenade launchers played a very important role in Sri Lanka’s victory over the Tamil Tigers in the past.

He said, “their chief of army staff called our CEO to thank him personally.”

Cavalier Group, also addressed the attendees of IDEAS-22, stating that given the changing nature of international conflict, made-in-Pakistan armaments have large export potential.

We manufacture superior-quality armored vehicles, body armor, bulletproof jackets, and multi-role combat vehicles of the highest caliber, he said.
