PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif, won the poll with 174 votes on Monday. He announced a 10% hike in salaries for government employees earning up to PKR 100,000 per month during his speech at the session. Additionally, a 10% increase in the pensions of retired civil and military personnel will take effect on April 1, 2022, according to his plan.
In the meantime, he announced an increase in the monthly minimum salary to PKR 25,000.
