Elon Musk, the new ceo of Twitter, on Thursday warned that Twitter may go bankrupt as more senior executives leave the company.

According to sources, Musk informed Twitter employees on a conference call that he could not rule out the platform’s bankruptcy.

Yoel Roth, who oversaw Twitter’s efforts to tackle spam, disinformation, and hate speech on the service, announced his resignation on Thursday.

Damien Kieran, Twitter’s chief privacy officer, and Marianne Fogarty, its chief compliance officer, also submitted their resignations, according to an internal message shared on Twitter’s Slack messaging platform.

In the meeting held on Thursday, Twitter’s new owner also declared that the firm would no longer permit remote work, implying that anyone who failed to show up in person for work would be fired.
