UMT, ranked among the top 600 universities worldwide and belonging to the 501-600 band, was named the best private university in Pakistan.
A nearly flawless score for research citations allowed UMT to accomplish its astounding feat.
In general, 13 carefully curated performance measures are used by THE to evaluate institutions focused on how well they perform in various categories:
- Research
- Teaching
- Knowledge transfer
- International Outlook
The fact that UMT placed second among Pakistani universities from the public and private sectors that took part in WUR 2023 is also significant.
UMT is pleased with its exponential growth, particularly in terms of research, eminence, and overall placement.
Ibrahim Hasan Murad, president of UMT, congratulated the UMT family on this outstanding accomplishment and stated that these outcomes demonstrated the university’s commitment to academic excellence and research.
He said according to THE Rankings 2023, UMT is now the top Pakistani private university.
UMT would now focus on achieving its next objective, which is to rank among the top universities in the world, he added.
Murad also took to Twitter to appreciate the contributions of the faculty to this achievement. As he tweeted:
