Meta, Mark Zuckerberg’s business empire, has launched a new business directory feature on WhatsApp to allow users to look for any business they want to contact.
The feature is currently rolling out in five countries; Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Indonesia, and the UK.
With the help of the feature, users can look for businesses by different business categories, including travel or shopping.
Companies that have accounts on the WhatsApp Business platform can also be found directly by name.
While the availability of shopping options in other countries, including Pakistan, has not yet been announced by Meta, one of its spokespersons did mention that the company intends to expand this experience to more people and businesses worldwide in the future.
